S&S, 84-91 B.T. 1340cc short block assembly. Natural

Natural finish. Ready to replace the complete stock lower end of the 80"/1340cc Evolution Big Twins engine, or as the base for a custom build. Included are the much stronger 'bullet-proof' S&S SuperStock crankcases for stock 3-1/2" bore cylinders with stock 4-1/4" stroke flywheels & rods installed by S&S experienced technicians and balanced to stock weight pistons. Compatible with carburetor or fuel injection and all stock and most aftermarket components. Note: 77-89 model year style pinion gears, spacers & nuts are required. If your existing engine is 90-99 B.T. (late model with the one-piece sprocket/pinion/flywheels) then a 90-99 pinion conversion kit, like 904148 or similar, is required. Note: In any and all applications the technician must be able to judge components for their suitability in combination with the other engine components, prior to installation. It is of importance that a knowledgeable mechanic will install & make adjustments as required.
