S&S, forged 3-3/16" stroker piston kit. +.060"

For 3-3/16" OEM 1000cc bore. These stroker pistons can be used, in combination with 4-5/8" stroker flywheels, to convert 1000cc (61") 72-85 Sportster models to 1200cc (74") in combination with stock bore cylinders. Pistons can also be used in older stroker engines with 4-1/16", 4-9/16", 4-1/2" and 4-13/16" stroke flywheels. Piston deck height .806". These piston are forged from an advanced alloy and piston skirt profile for low noise and long engine life. Pistons include wrist pins, wrist pin clips and piston rings. Compatible with following engines: 71" engine, 4-7/16" stroke, 7.5:1 CR, 5.330" cyl. length. 72" engine, 4-1/2" stroke, 8:1 CR, 5.330" cyl. length. 73" engine, 4-9/16" stroke, 8.5:1 CR, 5.330" cyl. length. 74" engine, 4-5/8" stroke, 9:1 CR, 5.330" cyl. length. 77" engine. 4-13/16" stroke. 9:1 CR, 5.330" cyl. length. + 1/8" thick stroker plates. Note: For a 77" engine you will require small diameter flywheels and 1/8" thick cylinder base plates (stroker plates). Note: Ironhead Sportster cylinders are not available from S&S. Note: In any and all applications the technician must be able to judge components for their suitability in combination with the other engine components, prior to installation. It is of importance that a knowledgeable mechanic will install & make adjustments as required. The rider must follow standard break-in and riding procedures for overhauled engines.
